If you are just arriving in Canada, you need time to set up and carry out all the necessary procedures. Most new immigrants start renting a place to live temporarily while they are eligible to buy a property.   Among the documents that you must have a hand at the time of applying for the rent of a house they emphasize:  

• Credit Report: Your real estate agent can get it for you or you can download it by directly accessing Equifax (www.equifax.ca). It is recommended that your score be above 650 points.
• Letter of Employment: It is important that this document highlights the place where we are working, the name of our supervisor along with your contact information, the annual income you are receiving and how long.
• Letter of recommendation from the real tenant: a document that shows that you and your family are responsible people, who pay their rent for a time, who maintain a good coexistence and do not cause inconvenience to third parties. This requirement applies only to those who are already renting in a home, those who arrived at a hotel, for example, do not need to provide this letter.
• Personal references: from friends or relatives who stated that they know you by sight and treatment for some time. It is necessary that this document contains the complete names, the address of the current residence and the contact information of the users that they are referring.
• Bank account statements: Once your application is accepted, we have 24 hours to make the deposit corresponding to the first and last month of rent in the offices of the real estate agent that is not offering housing. It is important to meet that deadline and demonstrate that you have the funds available at the bank.

It is extremely important to have all these requirements and you want to rent a property.
